Group Print Exchange #7 Groups

nearly a month after sending out my prints, i'm curious to know if anyone in my group (9) has received them. int'l mail can be slow, and my printing isn't the best, but i would have appreciated a response.

Hi Jeff - I was just about to pm you! I received your great prints yesterday (actually delivered three days ago, but I only just got back to the office after a trip). Very odd that they have taken so long to reach me (I see they were posted on 13th April) - normally US post only takes 5 or 6 days to reach me. No sign of interception by customs (they put a sticker on if they open something)... Very odd.

Mine should be on their way Monday to Group 9 (I have them printed - just need to finish them off).

I just recieved a fanatstic 11x14 print from disfromage. It's a wonderful image of a scene one fondly remembers and sees so often - the front porch. I just love the "busyness" of the image and the details of all the objects. This is a great image. Thanks Richard.

Don't worry, you're not late. I haven't even shot my picture yet! Maybe tomorrow.

I've received prints from Bob Fowler and Steve Indvik, thanks guys, they are great! I'll be finding some space on my study wall to hang them shortly.

My prints should be in the post within the next week.

I am also in Group 11 and have been concentrating most recently on getting settled at a new job while simultaneously applying to graduate school. Since I want to shoot new work for the exchange I'm going to go out this weekend to photograph and then try doing some silver contacts and enlargements next week. I may not meet the deadline, but I will be very close.

Hey gang... I am hoping that my internet connection problems are behind me now (two weeks of hit or miss connections ). I have attempted to make a couple of prints from my last trip to the Quabbin, but have discovered flaws in the negs, and with time being consumed with the last exhibit at the VPC I haven't had any luck getting a print made.
This morning I scrutinized another couple of negs from that group and they look good to print!! WOOOO HOOOO! So I will be spending some time in the darkroom this holiday weekend. So please be patient, a print will be in the mail soon. But in case of more problems, I do have a back up print to send.

Good news first:
Got a couple of days ago the nice print from Richard/Disfromage. Many thanks.

Bad news: The enlarger is "out of order" at the moment as it needs a new bulb . It'll probably take a couple of days before I get a new one but I am away for a week from the end of this week. Therefore I might be quite late in sending you the photos. Many apologies for this delay...
