I'm pleased to have (finally) juried into the Griffin Museum's 16th Annual Juried show. The juror was Joerg Colberg who writes the Conscientious blog. There is an opening on July 1st, at 7pm. The museum is in Winchester, MA, very close to Boston. Hope to see some of you guys there!! If you can't make it to the opening, the show will be up until the end of August.

Congratulations, Suzanne!!

Hey! Congratulations, Suzanne. But didn't you have a show at the Griffin a year or two ago? My memory is full of holes, but I seem to remember being embarrassed by not making it to the museum when your work was up. Maybe I can make up for that this time.

Congrats Suzanne. I can't make the opening, but would like to make a trip to the exhibit at some point. Maybe we can do a little conspiring at Whitey's for a group trip to the show!

Thanks, everyone! Gene... sounds like a plan!! And yes, Whitey, your memory is correct. I had a show at their satellite gallery at the Stoneham Theater a bit over a year ago. Still, I had always wanted to get into this particular annual group show they organize. Apparently, I got close last year, but no dice... so, it's nice to have finally juried into this particular group show. And yeah... Shawn, I really didn't think he'd be the best juror for my work, but it looks like he's put together a show that is strong on portraits, and I guess my "Making S'mores" fit into the aesthetic!!
