Hello All,

Glad I came across this site - lots of good info and helpful members here.

Readers Digest bio: I started shooting back in high school in the mid 80's. We had a pretty decent darkroom and an enthusiastic instructor. I shot pretty regularly until the early 2000's, when a basement flood wiped out most of my slides and negatives. From then until I got my first DSLR last November I only shot sporadically, mostly holidays and special occasions.

I love my D750 - it is a great camera - but I found when I started shooting regularly again with it, there was something missing.

I picked up an excellent condition F4 (I'm a Nikon guy) after finding my N70 to be kaput, and discovered what was missing.

Now I have a makeshift darkroom in one of our bathrooms.

Anyway, looking forward to spending lots of time here.

Richard

Welcome, Richard. You have plenty of Nikon brethren on APUG (personally, I'm a Canon and Minolta guy).

Welcome to APUG Richard, from a Nikon gal! (FE and F100 mostly)

Richard - hello and welcome to APUG!

Good Morning, Richard,

Welcome from southwestern Illinois.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Yeah, I'm a Nikon guy, but I don't get into the mudslinging that can run rampant on some forums.

My first slr was a Canon AE-1. Great camera.

Decided to subscribe too - gotta keep places like this around.
