My name is Snjesko.
I found this forum by entering "analog photograpy" as keywords in Google, and it seemed obvious to me to register. I'm enthusiast in b&w photography and I'm owner of few Russian and ex Eastern Germany cameras. Since I'm begginer, I have no advices, I'm here to collect them.
I just wanted to say that it's wonderful to be surrounded by analog community in digital era.
Best wishes to everyone! Hope we'll have a good time here.

Hi Snjesko, welcome from Canada. The Fotokemika plant that produces the Efke films is generating some heated discussions here, so you could become a demigod if you have useful information for us pundits!

Hello Snjesko,

You've come to the right place. This plase is full of advice, or at least opinions, about everything (not only photography).

BTW I have a FED-2 myself, and a Balda Belfoca 6x9. As well as an old Welta Welti, assorted Industar lenses, et cetera...

Dear Snjesko,

Greetings from rural France. Maybe I'll get down into Croatia next time I'm in Slovenia! And if you're near Poitiers, look me up.

Cheers,

Roger

Welcome from the sunny and extremely dry prairie province of Manitoba, Canada!

Welcome Snjesko, from the other side of the globe, Hawaii. I'm glad to see another film user out there. I hope you enjoy our community.

Hello from Canada, too

Most in APUG are pleased to answer questions from those taking up the photos ala silver pursuit. Don't be afraid to ask questions, but try to put a bit of background information into the post. Otherwise you will have a fair number of responses asking for more basic information before they can guide you to the most probable solution or technique.

Glad you have joined the crowd here.

Welcome from New England! Are you near one of the most beautiful cities in the world...Dubrovnik?? Can't wait to visit some day!

Welcome from across the pond. My father was born in Croatia, although his immigration papers said Hungary since it was under control of the Hungarian Empire at the time (before WW I). Enjoy your stay.

Drew, well, Zagreb is less than a hour of flight from Dubrovnik, so it is near. I spent few days there this summer. Don't wait too much to visit Dubrovnik, it is good destination for someone with shooting intention (with camera, of course:smile:.

Mhv, even here, it's very confusing about Fotokemika. Yes, there are doubts if kb 400 is, actually, repacked ilford. The most confusing for me is a rumour which says that Fotokemika papers and films made for export are much better then those made for domestic market. Very sad, if true.
