Hoping to move to the Welsh borders/Herefordshire - vaguely in that direction anyway. However knowing how things never go to plan I accept I could end up in Scunthorpe or Grimsby. We shall see!

Thanks Mike. I don't rule it out - Ludlow area is one of the places I'm considering but as always with these things its a question of finding the right place at the right price at the right time. At least being retired I've got a lot of flexibility about where I go, provided I'm not too far from the places/things that interest me and existing friends in Wilts & Worcs and so South Shrops meets those criteria to some degree. Best wishes.

Ludlow for a short time until 3 years ago and I still own a small house there right in the centre - I love going there for weekends etc.

Mark, welcome from Bucks. Seeing XTC mentioned reminded me I saw them playing in the Kings Head pub in Aylesbury, when they were just breaking out of being a 'local' band. I remember shooting a film there on the old Practika Super TL2 I used then, probably on HP5.
