Hi!
I am finding myself drawn back in to the world of cameras. It has been a while since I took a course in college and I am very much the newbie at it again. Hoping that my ocd about it will help, lol! Looking forward to reading everything on the board it is so appealing here.

Welcome. If you are returning to "the world of cameras" you may not fully realize that this is a film photography site. If you do, great! Lots of good info to learn and share here! :D

Do not misunderstand me, sorry. I love the art of photography and hope to hone my skills. In fact aquire some. I am so tired of everything digital. I am just glad to have found everyone.

Hi lostlady, welcome from Hawaii. I'm glad you found us, and it is great to welcome another film user to the fold. BTW, this is quite an international forum, so many won't understand your "SFL" reference. But, thanks for clearning it up earlier.

Hello, from the desert SW.

Good Afternoon, Lostlady,

Welcome from Illinois.

What part of SFL? I'm a former resident of Port St. Lucie, Pembroke Pines, and several parts of Dade county. Congratulations on your newest storm. You now live in the cone of death again. Ah, to be back near the ocean. Thanks to Ernesto, you should be hunkering down or invading the grocery store for bread and water. Then off to Home Depot for more plywood... who knows what you did with the plywood you had last year and the years before that? Share some pics to celebrate the chaos.
Best of luck.
Chris

Pembroke Pines

That's a name I haven't heard in many years. I lived there in 1963, I was 8 years old. I suspect it has changed since then.
