Hi Folks,

A little about myself. It has been about 30 years since I have done any B&W/darkroom fun. First started with a Nikon Ftn back in the 70's and graduated to a Mamiya C33, wonderful. Still have both cameras, the meter on the Nikon needs fixing, the C33 is still a wonderful camera.

I retired last year after many years in the computer field. I started off in hardware graphics and ended as Unix system engineer. Work was always fun, just lucky that way.

Last fall I picked up a Zone VI 4x5, great piece of work, very slow to use it, I need to my act together. Reading all the post on APUG is a great technical and inspiring resource. People like Doremus and Ben (many others also) gives me something to shoot for. I like picking up the advice I find here, everyone is so very knowledgeable, blows me away. Someday I'll be half as smart, if I'm lucky.

P.S. I'm not offended by Dick jokes.

I forgot to mention that my wife and I make the best pizza on our grill on a 3/4 inch stone. Probably the worlds best.

Welcome from a little ways up the road.
We have a fairly active N.E. contingent here.

Welcome to A.P.U.G. Dick, you're very lucky, my wife dresses to kill, and cooks the same way :D.

Hi Dick,

Welcome to APUG! If you are interested in taking a view camera workshop in NH, I will be teaching an intro course in late July at the NH Institute of Art, Manchester, NH. I will cover camera choice, operation and movements, as well as film developing and printing in the darkroom. Good luck!

Hi Gary,

When is the next class? I'll be in Minnesota visiting the outlaws for a few months. Hoping to take shots of old iron mines, probably the grandnieces also, shit I'm old.

Speaking of pizza, do you invite people for dinner? Let me know if I should send you my address.

BTW, welcome to APUG. I hope you will not get killed here.
