A friend, who I lured onto the dark side of analog film, told me to join the APUG and write an introduction here. So lets go.

Im a 26 year old student of journalism and communication in Klagenfurt, Austria and been a film addict for quite a while now. All started with a Yashica Electro 35 and a roll of Agfa 100 slide film, then I moved on to Canon FD (noone wanted them), but I never was happy with them.

After I while, I moved to my main film camera, a Bessa R with a nice set of lenses. Later, Olympus and Nikon joined my gear cabinet, all deals to good to ignore them.

Today, I mostly shoot B/W film, and develope everything myself, I dislike labs because in the past they often ruined me or my friends film. Currently I´m expaning my darkroom lab, to set up the enlargers and other developing gear permanent. Hopefully I will finally start shooting more film again then.

I should have samples from the new lab up soon when everything works right.

so long

Markus

At this very moment, no. But the new one should be up and running in 1-2 weeks, with 3 enlargers (up to 6x9 film), colormetering (I ned to do color slides once) and the big jobo developing machine - in short all the fine expensive toys a darkroom need. And some space to move around that too.

Hallo, Markus. Willkommen!

You just have to respect decisiveness. Welcome to APUG, Markus.

Hello Marcus, welcome from western Canada.

Tell me when you come around, Kevin.
I have a Mamiya 67 I have to show the scenery there too. :D

Hi neighbour!

Welcome here on APUG!

I hope that You will found here some interesting informations. If You need any help with setting Your darkroom, do not hesitate to ask me.

Best wishes,

Rombo

Sure I will, Rombo. And thanks for the offer with the darkroom. Are you located in the northern parts of Slovenia, in case I visit parts of it again and someone local who knows all the tricks is then always welcome

greetings

I live near Ljubljana, and I am at least once in a month in Klagenfurt for shopping magazines (Fine art photo,Schwarzweiss, etc...).
I have my own darkroom at home, and one in the school. I would be glad to met You.
