I made my initial foray into photography in the early '60s when I clumsily developed my first roll of b&w 127 negative film from an old Brownie box camera. Man I was hooked big time! Soon I graduated to a Yashica 35mm RF SLR and built a home darkroom in my sister's old bedroom (once she got married off) and moved up to a Asahi Pentax Spotmatic. Next came an assortment of Canon SLRs and my enrolement at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (now University) in the Photographic Arts course in Toronto. I ran a fairly successful wedding business and did alot of commercial and PR work for a chemical corporation that I was working for at the time. I am now enjoying early retirement with my wife and have taken up residence in beautiful New Brunswick in Atlantic Canada, a landscapers dream. I have entered into the digital world but I still embrace to purity of film and shoot regularly on my 2 Mamiya 645 MF cameras.
