I bought an old camera a Dignette and in the case that came with it an unopened box of Grayhound Pan film in 620 format. Anybody hear of this stuff before? I am in Canada if that helps and was produced for Grayhound Photo (which no longer seems to exist). It says it is made in England. Could it be rebranded Ilford? I have found nothing. The expiry date was 1966 so it is pretty old. And with it being this old does anyone know if it would even be worth trying to shoot with it?

there were a LOT of private label films out there at the time. Most were intended to work similar to Verichrome pan, so that the user could send them for processing and get the results they were expecting. A REAL CLose look at the spool and backing paper may yield some clues as to the origin, but you would be guessing.

As far as using it, you would probably find it would be an interesting experiment but it would be guesswork trying to figure out how much speed it has lost and how much fog was settled in.
