Graphic Synchro compur flash connection

I have a Kodak Ektar 127 lens in a Synchro Compur shutter marked as "Graphic". There seems to be a post for connecting a flash, but I have never seen a connection of the type. It is NOT a bi-post connection, nor is it a PC connection. What other type of connection is there? I'm not having any luck finding a cable for it.

There is a connector called, I believe, the ASA. It has small lugs onto which the cord bayonets.

Post a picture or go to http://www.paramountcords.com/, click on sync cords, and state the tip number.

I have only seen Bi Post and PC connectors on Compur shutters but they may have made special connectors for Graflex Corp. on request. The only difference between Graphic __ shutter and the manufacturing company's name shutter is the name on the label unless its a special order.

That ASA sounds like mine. It's sort of like a mini-BNC. Hopefully now that I know what it's called I can find an adapter. What a pain.

Yes, its an ASA. Paramount, linked above, has them.

PC/ASA adapters used to be available...if you dig through ebay enough, you can probably still find one.

Yes, what a pain. I can feel your pain. ASA Bayonet was a standard connector but only by Kodak I think. I just bought a flash for my Retina... and it came with that connector. I need to cut it off and repalce with a real PC connector. I'd offer you the old one but the cord is in really bad condition. It was made in 1950 or 1951.
