Grain on digital negatives

Hello,
I am trying the QTR Sean method (Dead Link Removed) to obtain digital negatives for use with pur palladium and ziatype. The last curves look the best.
I seek now a solution to remove the grain between 0 and 50, very visible untill 30.
Someone would have a line of inquiry?
I work with an Epson 3800 on AgfaCopyjet

There are two probable causes: one could be that the distribution of ink you have chosen could be reacting with the UV light and producing a granular pattern on your prints. There are others here more qualified to assist if this proves to be the case.
The other possibility is the paper. Is it one you have been successfully using in the past? If not, perhaps the paper isn't suitable for these processes or it may need a pre-soak in oxalic acid.
One final thought, adding excessive contrast agent to the sensitizer can result in grainy prints; especially if you are using potassium chlorate or hydrogen peroxide - NaPt is much better.

BTW: I can send you my Pd profile for the 3800 if you wish to compare. My prints are very smooth.

the paper is the Weston Diploma, I use it since 2 or 3 years with Na2 without problem so I think the problem come like you say from the inks.
Yes, I am interested to try your Pd profile.
