I wonder if the human race will last that long...especially in a condition that can store and save such things.

In theory, I guess my carbon prints could last that long, or longer, with proper storage...I'd better not let any substandard ones out there. Hate to have a bad print last that long!

I noticed that he used a hybrid process to make his prints. He scanned his 8x10 negs, tweaked it in Photoshop then made an inkjet neg. So what's your take on it? I personally have no problems with it.

Well, I hope they do last a 1000 years and longer.... but we'll never know! I've exchanged emails with Kobayashi san. I asked him about his technique, etc. Very forth giving with his knowledge.

I love Mr. Izu's work. My wife and I accidently found his work in a children's hospital in Siem Riep, Cambodia. I was blown away.

Nice stuff, but if this were true, we would all be printing exclusively in platinum/palladium
