Hey guys,

I got My M3 back from Youxin back today. I'm very excited, especially that today is Friday and have the whole weekend to go shoot. I can already tell there is a big difference in operation.

Yup, he does great work. I sent my M2 and a couple of lenses to him last year, and now they are almost like new. I highly recommend him for Leica CLA's and upgrades.

He's fast! Not to be pissy (but I will be anyway), what takes the rest of these guys so long?

I've bought fully CLA'd Leicas from Youxin and been nothing but satisfied. I requested an ugly but working user M2 and he dug one up, fixed it up, did a full CLA and sold it to me for a very reasonable price. I was so pleased I checked back in not long after and nailed down a similar IIIF RD too, and a fully cleaned up 35/3.5 uncoated Elmar that's become one of my favorite lenses. All have worked perfectly for a few years now. He's prompt, wonderful with his communication and does great work.

Super great guy. I just recently had a 90 f2.8 Elmarit lens CLA'd by him and it was fixed and returned in short order. My 1957 50 f2 DR Summicron goes to him tomorrow for some haze reduction. I know it will be better than ever when it returns.

Todd , I am happy for you. Have great time with your camera and take few tugsten portraits with it.
If you force the lens , it produces amazing things.

Youxin Ye...

Youxin did a CLA and replaced the beam splitter on my IIIf and lens today. I'm close enough to drive over and watch him work. What an amazing guy.

Now I have to buy another Leica just to have Youxin work on it!

I recently bought a good looking M3 for that purpose as well. So far though, I can't find anything wrong yet. If/when I do it's straight to Youxin.

I just wish it had frame lines for the 35 but, for that there's the M2 or M4. For the 50 and 90 it excels.
