After waiting nearly 3 months to get my Gossen battery adapter for my lunasix 3/lunapro lightmeter I find that I can't get any life out of it. Batteries and adapter test OK, so the fault must be in the lightmeter somewhere. Battery test registers nothing and same for any light readings. I'm not sure if I can find anyone to service it here or whether I should buy another one or get a new cheap digital one. Has anyone had a similar problem and is it an easy and cheap fix?

I know it's tough, bluedog but they cost more to service than they are worth, I recently bought a Gossen Digipro I recommend you have a look at one, I have several meters , but it's the easiest , and quickest, one to use, is very accurate, reads in 1/10 stops and runs on one AA battery, has automatic switch off, so no more battery problems.

Try cleaning the contacts, in the meter, with a dry cloth. Sometimes with time & lack of use you don't get a good connection. I've had this happen with cameras and my Gossen meter.
