I believe you are right Peter , APX 100 is not t-grain technology

I think the only T-Grain films around are Delta, Tmax, and Acros. Although Fuji Acros calls it Sigma grain. Which I would assume is pretty similiar to t-grain with it's own characteristic.

Peter

I use Tmax100 @ 50 ISO and APX100 @ 100 as it's a true speed and they behave in a very similar manner, except for Agfa's stop higher speed. I used AP100 prior to that.

APX100 is the Agfa equivalent of Tgrain the differance is the ISO testing is more realistic as it's based on the Din method of testing film speed, which gives a true speed unlike the ASA method which tends to overstate the true speed.

APX25 (discontinued) and APX100 are T-grain equivalents however APX400 is not.

I just pray they don't replace their B&W with T-Grain films.

Me too. The thought of competition for TMax scares me to death.

The Ilford Plus series are alive and kicking if the Delta`s aint for you, we`re spoilt for choice.

My idea would be for them to start up a website printyourown.com all about how great it is to print you own photos in a darkroom and comare it to somebody who buys model planes and somobody who buys there own kits and builds there own. get the idea?

Here you have another RC Postcard fanatic.

Will Email today, but I can hardly figure I'll get any answer.
Indeed, I got an answer from the folks at Ilford:

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your note and your kind words regarding our company :

We are, and remain passionate about Black & White we will continue
to supply our existing products and introduce new ones: As to the item
you mention Portfolio postcard, its possible this will return but is
part of
an on-going review of our product range, please check our website
for updates:

As to ILFOCHROME Classic, it is a superb product and will continue to
available, but the range of sizes are limited and I am afraid are more
suited to commercial quantities.

Perceptol Developer in a 1 liter size will be available in October, at the same time as ID11 in 1 and 5 liters, and Microphen in 1 liter.

From the ILFOPRO website posted today.

ID-11 has been back on the UK shelves for a few weeks now - as is Microphen (allegedly - I don't use it).

Will be glad to see Perceptol back - I was about to try some when the brown sticky stuff hit the fan. Bought a pack but held off using it as I was not sure it would return...

Cheers, Bob.

Ive seen Microphen, ID 11 and Perceptol stocked in Phoenix, the ID 11 was sold out in a week or so.
