Hello,
This feels funny talking about me but here goes. My first serious camera was a used Nikkormat in 1966. It took many fine shots in Europe that summer when my wife and I went to Europe as an exchange student, Those days the exchange was 4 Marks (now Euro) to a US dollar. I shot transparencies right out of the gate. I stuck with 35mm for 35 years with Minolta SRT 102 (which I still have), up to the latest and greatest Nikon F100 and the D100 Digital SLR (which I have for sale as I write this).
I was introduced to Large Format 18 months ago and have never looked back. I bought a new Wisner 4 x 5 Technical Field Camera and used it on a trip out west with Joe Englander. What a piece of junk!!! I traded up to a sweet Linhof Technikarden TK45S. What a joy to use this.
My step son has the same camera and we are planning another trip out west this fall.
I am so glad to know that all you people are out there to help me with whatever jam I can get into with my picture taking and picture processing. I have setup a nice digital lab in my home to process our shots. It was fun up until I had to come out of retirement due to a severe financial reversal. However I am confident all will be well and will continue learning about film and it's processing and printing.
Thanks for letting me join.

Welcome Ed from the western part of the state, Springfield. This is a great site for all sorts of analog info... film, chemicals, printing and cameras. I'm sure you're gonna love your visits here.

Hello Ed. Lots of friendly and knowlegable folks here. I am sure that we'll be drawing upon your considerable experience as well. Welcome.

Hi Ed,

Welcome aboard! I was transplanted form Massachusetts to New Jersey 23 years ago, but still have family in Billerica (and some in New Hampshire). You'll find that this can be a most informative (and many times entertaining) site.

Welcome to APUG, Ed!
This is a great place & I think you'll find many like-minded people here!
Looking forward to seeing some of your shots in the gallery!

Hi. Ed.

Always good to see a "local" here.

I'm to the east, in Ipswich. Care to get together some time for coffee?

Good Evening, Ed,

Welcome from Illinois; glad you found us.

Welcome!

Another Mass. photographer says hello. (Northern Worcester Country). I still occasionally use the Nikkormat FT I inherited from my late father...with a heavy 1.4 50mm lens. Sweet glass.

Hoping you find good light,

Bill Hahn
