Hello everyone

I was wondering if I could get some help

It seems to me most if not all of the grading tutorials I see involve lathering on saturation or desaturating 'til there's barely any colour left.
Either that or making the blacks really milky and an extreme colour shift so the image ends up looking like a hipstamatic print, which to me is starting to look pretty dated

I was wondering if anyone can recommend some good, solid grading tutorials? Specifically for photoshop or lightroom (though photoshop preferred)

I'm familiar with the basics of curves etc if that helps

Thanks in advance!

Sorry if I don't understand, what is it you want to do to the image? You mention you are familiar with curves so grading has some other connotation for you...

By that I mean using the curves etc to colour grade certain looks - muting colours without just desaturating in particular

Thanks!

You might try looking around for free "presets" for PS or LR that someone may already have put together for that very purpose.
Good hunting!
