Hi all! I'm from Ukraine. I developed my first film 50 years ago when I was 6 years old. Yes, I shoot digital, but I always think before shooting how much film do I have left? ))) Therefore, I get real pleasure from the film. Now I'm experimenting more and more with expired Soviet film. I'm glad I found this place of communication. I still don’t know what is allowed here, what is forbidden, I will observe more

Thank you! Yes, there are two good labs in Kyiv 1. "Fotovramke" - youth, driving and cheerful, more with a bias in lomo. 2.PhotoFond is a classic and keepers of traditions. These guys can do anything, they will process any material that exists in nature.

Oh yeah! Ukraine is quite a big country. I lived in the Donbass, but worked in a mine, later I left for the Kyiv region and now I am here. Yes, the rocket attack is going on right now, but there is no apocalypse yet, but the light is on for several hours during the day and for several hours at night. But you can live and even develop the film

We (the moderators) have deleted a couple of references to the current very serious situation in the Ukraine. Not because we don't think it is important - we do. It is because the politics and the suffering are best discussed elsewhere than on this photography site.
It is almost always okay to show photographs.

Nice video. I was just thinking if something like that was done at a real wedding by a wedding photographer/videographer? I put together video slide shows from personal trips, birthday parties, etc. with background music. They're for personal use but they follow similar principles. Here are a few.

Thank you all for your participation and words of support! The last shelling was very heavy, more than 40 missiles on Kyiv and the next day an attack by Iranian Shaheds. It got very close. As a result, we were completely without electricity for 60 hours. Yesterday at Christmas for the first time they gave almost 24 hours, today the schedule is 4 hours there is electricity, 4 hours is not. And it's wonderful! If such a regime works, I will easily live until spring! A daughter from Prague came to visit. She is a biologist, studies and works in the Czech Republic, and will defend her dissertation. Together we developed the film on which she took pictures in Sweden, the Czech Republic and Ukraine
