I am mixing my first gold toner for toning my Vandyke prints.
This is my first time mixing this formula, and I had an interesting effect.
The formula is the formula on Sandy King's website.
When I poured my 1% gold chloride solution into my distilled water it was a very golden yellow color.
When I poured in my 1% Thiourea solution, and mixed it, it became clear.
Since I am new to this, I just wanted to know if this was normal.
