I'm toning lithprints in Selenium and then Fotospeed Goldtoner.

Do I need to re-fix?

I also got Tetenal Goldtoner, but I can't find any answers, only some info in Rudmans book on toning that some toners generate halide that needs to be fixed away again.

Even though I love the cold tone of gold, I'm doing it to stabilize the prints. I want to make em live forever!

Using toners to stabilize prints only works when the toning is carried far enough to make a significant change in image color. In other words a significant number of the silver atoms on the surface of the grains must be converted. Agfa Sistan does not change the image tone and is quite effective.

Thanks Gerald, I know most things about toning, but with the gold, I was a little bit confused. I own a copy of Tim Rudmans Toning Book!

Thanks for mentioning Sistan, I have never used it, and as far as I know it is gone, but this is the equality of AG Stab
