Gold 100 and 200 In 120 Format

I got my roll of Gold 100 in 120 back today. Again it was dated 1994. I shot it at 25 ISO and that seemed to be about right, looking at the density of the neg. The imprinting of the film info has pretty much faded away, as you can't read what film it is. I have a roll from 1993 also in the freezer, so I will shoot that next time. Also have a roll of VR-G, but honestly I doubt that film would be usable, as its way too old.

It may not be speed loss.
It may be fog gain.

Since the film barely at all shows the film type and frame numbers, I question if its speed loss or not. All I know is the neg looks dense enough to scan at 25 ISO.

1994- I graduated college that year. It all went downhill from there.

The loss of the frame numbers is due to latent image degradation.
Those numbers were exposed on to the film almost 30 years ago.
If you had been stored for 30 years in a tightly wrapped roll of film, you would have faded as well!
You may find when you scan them that the numbers are there, just faded and buried in fog.

it would be nice if they offered Gold 200 in 120.

I've said this to numerous people in my life over the past couple years. If it was made in 120, I would probably use Kodak Gold almost exclusively.
