I am so glad I have found APUG. With it's "focus on film" (yes, pun intended) I believe that I will not be subjected to the "film is dead" harrangues one finds on sites like RFF!

There is so much to learn here and many wonderful people as well. I've learned a lot by reading the posts and looking at the images. The nice thing I've found is a willingness to help and share advice by all of the people here. There is also a remarkable range of talents in too many types of photography to mention in a small post. Besides living in NY, my wife and I also have a home in Tucson - up by Kolb and Sunrise (nr Ventana and Sabino Canyon etc.).
