Sometimes I wonder if the people that rave about Leica are using it as a secret communication to rave about Aryan Supremacy or something.

For me , I have to be expert to know that japanese garbage than know rollei and leica.

What an asinine statement. I still own one Leica with a 50mm, had much more but sold it after Kodachrome, truly did not see the point of what is now *highly* overpriced gear for either digital or black and white.

I'll be darned! I thought the starting price of 35k was high. The whole lot sold for 60k.
Even if the top bidder bails out, there's still bids from six separate bidders over 55k.

Knowing eBay, that doesn't necessarily mean they transferred the cash.

M***a and t***m have many auctions so they should be legitimate buyers.
h***h, the winner, has only 3 auctions and might be an "illegitimate" buyer.

Without inspecting the collection in person it is, I think, quite difficult to assess the value. As said, most items as said to be good aesthetically and in good working condition which, if true, might place the average value above $30 per item.
