What an asinine statement. I still own one Leica with a 50mm, had much more but sold it after Kodachrome, truly did not see the point of what is now *highly* overpriced gear for either digital or black and white.
 
Wow....I wouldn't even know were to put them all...you'd need to rent a warehouse....a camera repair/refurbish geek could make money on this.
 
Knowing eBay, that doesn't necessarily mean they transferred the cash.
 
M***a and t***m have many auctions so they should be legitimate buyers.
h***h, the winner, has only 3 auctions and might be an "illegitimate" buyer.

Without inspecting the collection in person it is, I think, quite difficult to assess the value. As said, most items as said to be good aesthetically and in good working condition which, if true, might place the average value above $30 per item.
 
We don't know whether or not the lot was inspected in person...
