Took this pinhole photo the other night and am baffled at the very bright spot above the stove on the left (bottom photo).

http://www.flickr.com/photos/aaronmichael/5447051482/

The photo was taken under artificial light from 11pm till 6am the next morning. When looking at the scene in life, there is no bright spot there from the lights - it's the same tone as the rest of the wall. Any thoughts on what could have caused this? Or did I capture something supernatural?

Hello everyone

Yes it is a ghost! i have seen many and i can assure you that is a ghost!

Ghosts seem to appear more when you use pinhole cameras or crappy plastic ones, they also appear when you shoot the same film twice. But not always...

You have to tease the ghosts for them o appear in your photos, if you are a technically perfect photographer they seem to be very shy, but if you tease them with some not by the book techniques they will gather and smile to your photos.

Paranormal makes nice photos!

Its a g g g g ghhooossst!
Not really, its diffraction flare from a light source on the edge of the pinhole.

Ghost or not, it's a rather interesting photograph! I prefer to think of it as an orb. ;D

Most of the ghost photos I see posted are someones thumb. This is much better!

See the spirit?

This is my personal version of Edvard Munch's "The Scream".

It is ironic that such a thing should happen as I photographed a headstone.

Thanks everyone for the comical replies and saying it's an interesting photo - haha. I attempted to take the same photo again last night but it seems that the paper that I used as a negative was fogged. Maybe the ghost did it...
