Most of my pinhole cameras are simple things made from cans or foamcore or mat board and duct tape. I made one today for WPPD 2016 coming up on April 24th:

Ready for WPPD 2016
par Ned, on ipernity

The camera uses a curved plane for 8x11, 7x11 or 6x11 inch photo paper, and has selectable rise ( or fall if you turn the camera upside down ). The camera is just a black foamcore box. The curve is formed by a 8x16 inch mat board insert, and the paper snaps into place when loading; no need for tape or worry about paper slipping in a makeshift holder. On the right you can see the pinhole is mounted on a piece of mat board that can slide up or down. When it is all the way down it is centered for 8x11 paper. The pencil arrows mark the highest it can go without the corners of the paper vignetting. The pinhole was made in a piece of sanded aluminum from a drink can, and is about 0.38mm ( I was aiming for 0.35 but missed  ).

My flat plane camera for 8x10 inch paper is 10x8x5. This one is 9x8x4.5, a little more compact even though it will make a little bigger negative. Field of view should be about 135°. There will be a little more than 1 stop light falloff at the corners from distance to the pinhole, but quite a bit more than that because of "squint". The little piece of tape on top of the camera in the top right image is the "shutter", there is a little square of tape face down on the sticky side to keep the stickum away from the pinhole. I made a test exposure today and will develop it tomorrow....

If you want to participate on WPPD, it is a lot of fun and you can make a camera as simple or as complicated as you like.
