Getting contrast out of Diffuser: transition from Condenser

Intensify the older negs for the diffusion.

Check everything else first, as normally there is only 1 grade diffence.

What explanations have you come up with for this problem?

well .... a nice devere varicon condensor head came up on ebay, so I bought it! I'm picking it up on the weekend. I just seem to prefer the over all condensor feel I think I'll keep hold of the diffusion head incase I ever want that softer mid-toned look .... I suppose I'll have the best of both worlds.
