I'd like to share the story of taking the giant Lawrence replica camera to San Francisco. The negative measures 24 inches by 50 inches, but was cropped down to the same porportions that George Lawrence used. The photo was taken on April 18th 2006, EXACTLY 100 years after the earthquake.

The scanned image doesn't come close to the actual detail in the photo. Anyhow, here's the link and what happened:

That looks great. Any plans to shoot other locations?
