Garage sale score for the Yashica LM

My husband brought home a $10 garage sale box of photographic oddments. In the bottom were some small lenses in little brown leather cases. Ignored them for awhile, then wondered if they'd fit the Yashica LM. Proxars! Awesome! I've uploaded some photos to the gallery from my test roll.
There's also yellow and red filters the right size, but they aren't threaded. It appears there must have been a ring of some sort that would have been used to attach them. Can anyone shed any light on filters for TLRs circa mid-fifties?

I believe the earliest model Yash's used push on filters up until they started using a bayonet fitment. Yashica 'A' is a good example of this. There may be an adapter ring available, I personally have no experience with them.

The filters with no threads are probably 'Series' style, most likely Series 5 (V).

Some have metal rings. Some are simply slabs of glass with no ring.

Check in the box for an adapter that unscrews and has a place for a filter to be trapped. They do make adapters to put Series V on Bay 1 lenses like the LM.

TLR filters

I have not checked the Yashicas to see if it is a bayonet mount or a threaded mount filter.
If it is a bayonet mount, most likely it is a size 30mm bayonet. You can either obtain B-30 size filters or you can obtain a B-30 series V filter holder for the filters that you already have.
Some of the newer series V filters, do have a threaded side. If your Yashica is a threaded type filter, you need to measure the size of the diameter. If it is a non standard size, you may need to find a proper push-on filter adaptor. This can be a pain as some will almost fit and others will be too large.

I have several older TLR cameras and not one of them has the same lens filter adaptor. What fits perfect on the Seagull TLR, does not fit the Graflex 22 or Ciro-Flex TLR. At least all of my Rollei's have the B-30 size filters.
