GAF Isodol Portrait Film Developer

I have two cans of this developer. They look like they are fresh from the manufacturer. I love to experiment and I have a large inventory of old chemicals that have been discontinued.

I'm going to be trying this one out in the next month or two. I have tried to get some info on it but I guess I will have to work a little harder.

I have some base information from the can.

NORMAL - 68F full strenght 7 minutes
SOFT - 68F diluted 1:1 8 minutes

These are considered a base to start with.

It notes that newer film types may develop faster requiring shorter times.

In any event finding something old and using it to make something unique is part of the fun I have in the darkroom.

So if any one has any working knowledge or suggestions that would be great.

Sorry to revive an old thread but how did it turn out? My friend has a dozen cans and has been doing some testing this past week. I'll ask him how it turned out and maybe make a separate thread about it as there isn't much if all information on Isodol that I can find.
