Does anyone know anything about G. Paul Bishop, a portrait photographer in Berkeley, California who died in 1998, or his son, G. Paul Bishop, Jr., who seems to have inherited his studio and rights to his photographs? I'm trying to help someone acquire rights to a photograph taken by the elder Bishop in the 1970s, and they have a website at http://www.gpaulbishop.com/ , suggesting that this is possible, but they don't seem to answer e-mails or phone calls, and my colleague says they have been trying for three months.

Anyone who lives in Berkeley know, if the studio at 2125 Durant Avenue is still operating? If I googlemap it and look at the street view, the studio seems to be there (or at least it was when the Googlemap car drove by), attached to a house, where Mr. Bishop, Jr. may live, I suspect.
