i dont think a normal shutter is large enough.
thread size is app. 89mm diameter.
on the other hand i have some time ago seen some very, very large shutters,
i dont remember what they are called.

nope, far too low coverage, it will cover 8x10 or possible larger.
my camera is 20x24 inch !
