I have an interesting problem related to this. It seems like I cannot post to certain threads nor direct message. I’ve been a light user for many years and I can’t even post to threads where I have posted in the past. Any way to get these privileges back…? Thanks.

I'll refer your situation to Sean (the site owner)'s attention - he is the one who can deal with it for you. There is a time difference, so it will most likely take a few hours.
In the meantime, can you try again? I ask because you may have succeeded in raising your post totals sufficiently to make the necessary difference.

Except for starting a thread in the classifieds you should be able to start any other thread. You also should be able to send a PM to anybody. Basically, as there are members who reject being pm'ed, and those are quite a bit. Maybe this explains your latter issue.

Matt made a valid point, as only today you made a great number of posts, it may have been that during today you experienced these issues, just before passing the threshold of postings to give you the rights above, and by now all is fine.

Thanks for your input. I can now reply to most posts, but still can’t direct message, or do classifieds. Perhaps once my post total goes up some it’ll open on up.
Just seemed weird that I was blocked from even posting on threads where I had posted before. But I guess if the terms changed maybe I was stuck in the middle. It’ll be a good reason to contribute more anyway.
