Apologies if this has been asked before but can anyone tell me if a Fujinon W 210mm f/5.6 will be suitable as a wide angle for 8x10?

The older Fujinon W and WS series lenses that have the writing on the "inside" i.e. around the front element, have an image circle of 352mm, and can be used on 8x10 as wide angle lenses. The newer NW lens is confusingly also named W, but is marked on the outside of the barrel and has a 300mm image circle. The last CM-W version is marked as such, and has a 309mm image circle.

Awesome 8x10 lens!!! I have had mine for almost ten years. A real favorite for field-camera work. The bigger and little brother work well on 8x10 also (180mm and 250mm).
