Hi.

I am quite an experienced Color printer but rental darkrooms was staring to become too expensive so I just set up my own.

After a lot of searching I finally found a Fujimoto CP31 but it did not come with Replenish+Dry unit, not ideal but all I could find right now, and the price was good.

- I am struggling to figure out the replenishing rate. Somebody mentioned that you should replenish 10cc per every 8"x10" sheet, but how often do I replenish?? Its not exactly an easy thing to do as I have to remove the darn lid every time, or am I doing wrong?? I print 11x14 Fuji paper or 12x16 Kodak endura. Any ideas how often I need to replenish, and how much?

-Second question. Has anybody had problems printing with Kodak Endura with this printer? The paper developes very unevenly. I know this can be an issue as Kodak paper has way more contrast vs Fuji.

- Third questions. Does anybody have a CP31 Replenish+Dry unit for sale???

Thank you
Bjarne

I have a Beseler 16 roller transport processor. I have found the replenishment suggestion of 10cc per 8x10 to work for me. My unit did not come with the replenishment system either. I generally run 10-20 8x10’s (or equivalent) in a printing session and just do the replenishment when I drain the machine. I think the tanks are 4 liters so 100-200cc isn’t much as a percentage. That has worked well so far. If I ran more prints I would probably replenish in the machine, sucking out the used developer and adding with a big syringe at the 20 print mark.
