Fujifilm FP-100B, quick question

Trying to clear up a little confusion I have, does the Fuji peel-apart give a negative AND a print like the Polaroid stuff did?

Yes, but not a usable negative. You can scan the negative an potentially us it again but it is not like Polaroid 665 if that is what you are asking.

I have never been able to get a negative from 100B.

short answer is no. this film is much more like polaroid's 664 than 665

you can clean the negative (non paper) side with regular bleach and obtain a negative. I haven't tried but saw a dude from Spain doing that.

Yes, you can get a negative using the bleach. I haven't had much luck getting something an enlarger can use. You can definitely scan it though. It is too thin for an enlarger.

The FP-100C (color) is much more resilient (physically), has no color mask, and gives a much denser negative. Try that.

Thanks for all the replies. With the prices for Fuji compatable film holders I wanted to be sure.

Shame as I aquired a 545 back with some very dried out 52 or 55 film just as Polaroid announced it was out of the instant film business. I took it off of a special microscope used for photographing the grain structure of metals in a laboratory. The machine was getting scrapped and unfortionately getting to the lens required tools I did not have with me at the time. No idea what lens was in it but it was probably a very good one!

Wishy; it is only compatable with some of the holders. The 545 does not work with any of Fuji's product line.

The Fuji instant films are "pack" films, and ARE compatible with current and past Polaroid and Fuji PACK FILM HOLDERS and pack film cameras. Unfortunately, many people only have the Polaroid holder designed for individual sheets, not packs.
