Fuji announced in November that Fujicolor 100 x 24exp and Fujicolor Superia Premium 400 x 27 exp exposure rolls supply would end Jan and March 22 respectively. Films would continue to be available but in 36 exp rolls only. Not seen this posted , probably as it only affect offical japan distribution (albeit also grey imported to Europe/US) .

FUJIFILM Imaging Systems Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President: Koji Matsumoto) has been using the color negative films for photography "Fujicolor 100 24 shots" and "Fujicolor SUPERIA PREMIUM 400 27 shots". We have been working hard to absorb costs such as improving production efficiency and reducing costs, but due to the continuous stable supply of color negative film, we have decided to discontinue sales this time. In the future, "Fujicolor 100" and "Fujicolor SUPERIA PREMIUM 400" will be integrated into 36-shot products and will continue to be sold.

Thanks It doesn't surprise me. In some ways I have wondered what the sense was of making cassettes with just a few less frames.

What did make some sense to me was 12 frame cassettes - a convenient substitute of a kind for bulk loaded short rolls but given the price of film now I can't see many buying less than 36 frame cassettes on a cost per frame basis
