Fuji Velvia Competition

Advertised in this week's Amateur Photographer, Fujifilm are running a competition for images taken on Velvia 50, Velvia 100 and Velvia 100F.

"The lucky winner will enjoy a pre-tour tutorial with the landscape photographer, Charlie Waite, before leaving for seven nights in Turkey, including five nights in Istanbul and two nights in Cappadocia".

I'm not sure if the original Velvia is included as it does state Velvia 50 (which is the title of the re-introduced film). I have e-mailed fujifilm with this query and I will post their reply when I get it.

Good News!!

I got a reply from Fuji:

"Yes, the 'Istanbul' competition is open to all versions of Fujichrome
Velvia - the old 50 and the new 50".

Time to start scanning!

Ah, who would to win and then have to go and spend time in the sun and fun anyway?

Knowing I have the winning Velvia shot is good enough for me!

It's just lucky for the winner that I don't qualify so needn't enter! :rolleyes:
