I know that this has been discussed before, so please bear with me for beating a dead horse.

According to a previous post in this forum:

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

the reciprocity characteristic of Neopan 400 looks more or less like Tri-X.

But according to this data sheet:

http://microscope.olympus.com/contentsDB/02support/01faq/05/ModelName.html

Neopan 400 and TMax 400 both exhibits the same reciprocity (type 6).

I have calculated the required compensations for both TMax and TX using the famous Gainer formula, from 2 seconds to 30 minutes. It is just a matter of choosing the right curve.

Which one would that be?

Thanks for any input.

I am interested in Neopan since it costs almost 50% less than Kodak films in Hong Kong.
