Good Day All,
Fuji has agreed to be an APUG Conference Sponsor. Bob Carnie convinced them to sponsor the Cross Processing Work shop.

Thanks Bob. For those who haven't been paying attention, the cross processing workshop will be given by yours truly. I have finally added some information regarding the workshop. I highly recommend it for all ULF B&W photographers.

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Way to go!

John I am blushing,

This would not happen without Uncle Bills help here in Toronto, he made the initial lead , I just followed through. Our lab is a Fuji Crystal Archive lab only for colour.

Any other APUGers with connections to potential sponsors out there??

John and I could use your help, we have a lot of workshops still needing sponsors.

How about inviting Zeiss to show off their new F-mount and M42 mount lenses, the new Zeiss Ikon, and other film-oriented products (they can leave the Tessar-equipped Nokia 90 2Mp cellphone at home)?

Scootermm,
that was a joke on my part. The workshop applies to processing E6 materials in c41 chem's.

I figured. damn the internet and its lack of sarcastic presentation.

Perhaps, it means just look outside your B&W world, and see what you can do with color.

Yep, cross processing is almost the antithesis of B&W ULF. But I am not putting ULF down, I have every respect for ULFers.

What about those guys doing 8x10" and 20x24" Polaroid "chocolate" (Type 809 Color Neg cross processed with a Type 804 B&W developing pod and positive receiving sheet)? I get a pain in my wallet even thinking about it.

Google "polaroid chocolate storer" and you might turn up some of Tracy Storer's chocolates. It comes out with a deep brown tone.

I did find any of Storer's work but did find some very intersting stuff. Thanks for the tip.

Do we have to wear anything, you know... unusual... for cross processing ?

.

Only a little beanie cap, you know the one with the little propeller on top.

Yes, there is certainly a dedication within ULF that surpasses even that for LF.

And like Robert said, "Only a little beanie cap"

I'll be wearing traditional red tartan plaid under a waist length jacket with an extra large mustard and plum harringbone pattern. No beanies for me I'll be wearing my hair up.
