Hello,
If you use and instant film back on a Fuji GX680 I think I see how you could get an 8x8cm square image on the film. But, does the viewfinder work in such a way that you can compose for 8x8 square or does it always crop the view on the groundglass to 6x8?
thanks folks!

You almost get an 8x8 image; the corners get cropped off (look at the camera back with the magazine removed and you'll see what I mean.) The ground glass has markings for 6x8 horizontal and 6x8 vertical so you could extrapolate for an 8x8 image. Make sure you don't have the 6x8 mask installed in the instant film back.

So you do have to guess at the composition when shooting square - too bad.
thanks for the information.
