I'm looking to buy a Fuji GSW 690 either the first or second model. Most important considerations are spotless glass and fully functioning shutter. Nick and scratches on body are not an issue, although lower film counts will make me happier  Let me know...

Thanks.

I have the III and enjoy using it occasionally. Can take pretty wonderful photos, and it's a rush pulling these nearly postcard size negatives out of the soup. These were cameras designed for the Japanese tourist trade: the tour guides used them to take group photos of the folks on the buses. They're pretty failsafe.

I have a GSW690 II model, shutter counter reads 168. The lens and mechanics are OK except the rangefinder has a vertical misalignment.
I've read somewhere it is an easy DIY fix, but it hasn't bothered me, I shot a few rolls of landscapes on it only. Would be looking to get around $615 net + shipping from EU, please PM me if interested.

The rangefinder is probably the weakest part of the camera. It's a bit dark and doesn't really have the precision of (say) a Leica M or a Mamiya 7. But since we generally shoot them at f/8 or f/11 and usually for landscape, it's not much of concern, I think.
