I have made a simple adjustment that seems to have helped. All the Fuji 6x9 rangefinders share the same method of counting frames. The film passes between a set of 3 rollers that spin to advance the counter, this is what stops the film winding lever. I pulled up on the chrome roller, on the camera back, trying to increase the spring pressure on the film to increase traction of the black in body roller that actually moves the frame counter and spacing system. First test roll looks a lot better, frame spacing is more consistent and centered on the film. It definitely is dependent on the black roller turning ,it seems to be working fine. All the problems have been with TMY-2, not sure if film type has any effect .
I will monitor if it re-occurs it's going to United Camera in Rock Island IL they can fix anything.
Best Mike
