Does anyone know if the Fuji peel-apart films are able to do emulsion transfers? If so, is it the same process as Polaroid's type 669? Or do you have to do some kind of special mojo to get the emulsion to transfer?

I assume even if the process does work, it would only work with FP-100C, right?

and can also be done with Fuji FP-100B. I will dig up my notes on it and post later...

So it does work? This is great news. Adding a few packs of FP-100C and FP-3000B to my Freestyle cart now. Why does it seem that as of late I have a new order in the works at Freestyle before my current one has even reached my doorstep?

it can be done but from memory its a pain in the arse compared to Polaroids film

check out the fuji site, look for the pdf on Cable Release of May 2008

i can't post the link as it comes up in a strange way as it was forwarded .

Click on "APUG search" above and try searching on "fuji transfer" without the quotes using the Google search option, and you'll turn up a few threads with detailed instructions.

The key difference is that transfers from Fuji instant color film need to be done in the dark.

Thanks for that Ann & Brian!
