Fuji Acros and Xtol 1+2

I am looking for a starting time for Fuji Acros (4x5) in Xtol 1+2 ?

I would start somewhere around 10 or 11 minutes at 68 degrees, rating the film around EI80. This has worked ok for me in the past. I am developing my 4x5 film in a slosher.

yes, try it on a few shots that aren't very important, but in average light.

1+3 is 14

So 1+2 is probably 11:45

Right, but this is based on maufacturers times, which are always high. I would start with 10:30 at EI 80. That should be a good starting time.

In my Jobo CPP-2 I use XTOL 1+1 for about 7'30'' with a 5' pre-wash for ACROS shot at IE 64, never tried 1:2 since this wouldn't allow me to use the minimum recommended stock solution per film (about 100 ml for 135 or 120).

I have had good success with ACROS 100 and XTOL 1:2 at 12 minutes

I've used it 1+2 at 13 minutes, EI 100. Very sharp and highlights seemed about right. I use invesrsion though - you may want to adjust this for tray or rotary to account for the different agitation.
