Fugi velvia 50: Exposed film, 20 years old?

Never developed any slide film, but have done color, but out of the blue, a friend asked me a question the other day.
He came across a mess of fuji velvia 50, 35mm film that he exposed over 20 years ago. He's now curious whats on it.
Soooo... have no idea how its been stored, but he wondered if it could still be developed normally, it being that old?
Said I ask, and teased him and told him, .. it was possible he might have a new project ahead of him, as he could home develop it, and then he would find out. ;-)
So how does chrome stand up over time, and how to develop it.

I don't process my own color film, but I'd say process it normally. as for the quality- with old e6 it's all a guessing game.
I bought this age unknown, pre exposed Ektachrome 320t off ebay and had it lab processed. it was quality enough to mount.

This pre exposed agfa ct100i came from the same seller and I had it processed by the same lab. There were salvageable images, but there was virtually no density. The lab owner even told me over the phone that these images could only be salvaged in black and white. I actually quite like the colors. Here's the uncorrected and corrected scans.

The pre-exposed film is interesting. But the price has to be low enough. Or you can just get junk stuff....
