Selling a Hasselblad Xpan I recently acquired. It's a camera I've long lusted after but it turns out I'm starting out a job interstate immediately and so need some cash in the short term. I love it so far and think I'll buy another one as soon as I can.
It's in pretty good shape - the shop I bought it from set it as a 7/10 which is probably accurate. As a lot of early Xpans, it has the paint chipping problem however it doesn't seem to be that bad on this model.
The lens and body are in good condition. Shutter counter is at 118, i.e. 1180 shots total. I've put a couple of rolls through and the lens and body seem to be working smoothly.
Rangefinder is working fine, vertical alignment seems to be off by a small amount but it looks clean and accurate to me.
Body serial has EE which I believe means manufactured in 1999.
Comes with the lens hood, has a hairline crack on the bottom, however it fits perfectly to the lens and isn't visible while using due to its placement.
I'm thinking a fair price is $1850 USD, cheaper than any listed on Ebay. Happy to negotiate, I'm located in Australia so postage to US / EU isn't cheap but we can work around that.
