A nice, vintage pre-war Wollensak Voltas 10.5" f/8 barrel lens with aperture.
Originally intended for Whole Plate (6.5" x 8.5"), and recommended for use at f/11 or smaller "for sharp definition in corners".
Triple convertible, but aperture scale is only for complete lens.
Uncoated.
This would be a good candidate for a 4x5 or 5x7 camera as a portrait lens.
Barrel has cosmetic wear & age patina.
Glass has some typical internal dust, maybe some light cleaning marks...it could use a cleaning.
There are a couple "quality bubbles" in the glass from the manufacturing process.
Aperture is stiff, but operable, and could definitely use cleaning & lubrication.
NO flange included, but it uses the same size flange/retaining ring as an Alphax or Betax #3 shutter...fairly common.
