If you ever wanted to shoot medium format with a view camera, this is the way to go. The back fits on the camera in place of the normal 4x5 graflock back and the film plane is very close to the 4x5 film plane which means you can use short lenses with this back. I was able to focus a 65mm lens to infinity with a recessed board and a 75mm and 90mm with a flat lens board. I found that the bag bellows worked best with the shorter lenses and this back.
You can keep a 6x9 back on the slider with the dark slide pulled as the slider has a built in dark slide that will cover the film when it is moved. I found that the back could be used easily with out a dark cloth using the provided ground glass shield.
This back will fit on the VX, and RF but will not fit on the SP.
The Wista 6x9 back is in great condition and is designed for this sliding back.
I would like to get $225 for the sliding back and the 6x9 back. The Wista 6x9 backs generally go for about $100 by themselves.
